Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for processing and analyzing high-throughput data from primary tissues and organoid experiments (e.g., RNA-seq, single-cell, spatial omics, imaging, clinical, screening data).
- Manage secure, scalable data storage solutions for organoid-related datasets.
- Design analytical tools for integrated cross-model analysis across diverse organoid lines.
- Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to embed data analytics into research workflows.
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to derive biological insights from complex datasets.
- Execute analysis strategies for NGS modalities (bulk and single-cell RNA-seq/ATAC-seq, screening data), including QC, normalization, differential analysis, pathway inference, and cross-study integration.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Support development of digital tools for visualization and sharing of organoid data internally and externally.
- Provide technical guidance and training on bioinformatics and data management best practices to junior scientists and collaborators.
This role will be 100% onsite.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, data science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in bioinformatics.
- Strong background in data analytics, storage architectures, cloud-based solutions, and database management.
- Experience with primary tissues, cell and organoid models, including handling and analyzing multi-omics and imaging data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, and familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skilled in analyzing complex biological datasets using advanced statistical and computational methods to address scientific challenges in organoid research.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, plan resources, track progress, and deliver results on time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to share complex information and build relationships with global teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational awareness, leadership, and teamwork skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, international teams.
- Adaptable to changing priorities while maintaining high quality under pressure.
- Knowledgeable of regulatory, ethical, and health authority requirements for data management and biobanking in drug development.
