Digital Marketing Specialist - Marketing Automation

We are seeking individual who is great with implementing B2B email campaigns to support the sales of lifesceience, benefits and retirement products and services. Digital Marketing Specialist – Marketing Automation will be responsible for developing and strategizing email and multi-channel marketing automation campaigns (using Eloqua), developing an A/B testing plan and process, and establishing a regular format and cadence for campaign reporting. You will work closely with our marketing teams as well as collaborating with our digital, and analytics. Serve as a principal email and marketing automation expert - empowering the marketing team to further its mission to drive sales. You are a data-driven marketer with experience operating the email channel and creating exceptional user experiences.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Over 5 years of digital marketing experience. (Demonstrable experience in leading and managing SEO / SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, and / or display advertising campaigns)
  • Understands the effect of various email types and know how to extract revenue from each (direct response, newsletter, follow-up automation),
  • Experience in progress management and direction in collaboration with an external company
  • Experience in analysis using analysis tools such as Google Analytics and problem solving
  • Over 1 year of CRM work experience
  • Experienced and creative in targeting and devising digital campaigns to engage, inform and motivate
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Up for expanding skill set and testing new Calls to Action, and looking to become an elite email marketer
  • Understands the challenge of content marketing and the need to produce short term results while seeing and addressing the long term needs
  • Work closely with the wider growth team to build the email list

 

This role will be evaluated based on:

  • Email list growth
  • Marketing Qualified Opportunities (MQOs)
  • Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs)
  • New MRR from Email Marketing (Net-New MRR)
  •  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Identify target audience and grow our email list
  • Design and implement direct response email marketing campaigns
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling in Japanese
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Write newsletters that educate and entertain our different audiences
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, gif, personalization and advanced features
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication with subscribers via email to minimize unsubscribes
  • Create segmented email lists for targeted lead generation
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of Email Marketing experience including hands-on experience producing high-level content.
  • Proven ability to grow and email list
  • Proven ability to drive revenue from email
  • Comfortable with producing MQL, SQO, and MRR from your efforts to meet revenue targets
  • HubSpot and SFDC experience preferred
  • Growth hacker mindset
