Field Marketing & Tech Sales / Applied Solutions_Life Science(Tokyo)

Summary:

 

Field Marketing & Technical Sales representative has two main profiles. 以下の2つの側面を持つ

 

1)Product sales for Diagnostics customers. 診断薬顧客へのプロダクトセールスとしての業務

To actively seek out the potential diagnostics customers’ needs and/or expectation and provide solutions for every potential business cases in order to promise the future revenue growth and profitability. 将来的に売り上げと利益をさらに増大させるために、診断薬顧客への潜在的ビジネスチャンスに対して、積極的に顧客のニーズや期待に応え、solutionを提供する

 

2)Marketing for Dx market Dxマーケットへのマーケティング業務

To Analyze the mkt of the Dx products and develop the plan for promotion, execute it, and manage the products in order to promise the future revenue growth and profitability. 将来的に売り上げと利益を増大させるために、Dx製品の市場を解析し、販売促進のプランを立て実行し、製品の管理を行う。

*Dx製品: カスタムペプチド、カスタム抗体、POCTに使用される免疫検査用ラテラルフロー部材(メンブレン、ラテックスビーズ、抗体、バッファーなど)

 

Responsibilities:

1)Product sales responsibilities for DX customers 診断薬顧客へのプロダクトセールスとしての責任

  • Seeding Activities: Identifies R&D potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel independently ; explaining product and service ; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities. 現状のビジネスを掘り下げ、自身で顧客と面談し、製品サービス紹介をし、新規ニーズを発掘し、顧客のR&Dのシーズを探る。
  • Submit samples and get the feedback of the sample evaluation and move to the real order or offer the alternative products. サンプルをオファーし、評価のフィードバックをもらい、実注文につなげる、または別の製品を提案する。
  • Closes deals by overcoming objections; preparing contracts for R&D stage.開発段階の案件について、問題点を解決し、契約書を用意するなどしてビジネスをクローズする。
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management as needed. 顧客のクレームに関して調査し、解決策を提示し、報告書を作成し、必要に応じてマネージメントに提案を行う。
  • Provides daily activity and historical records in SFDC SFDCに日々の活動記録と履歴を残す
     

2)Marketing responsibilities for Dx market Dxマーケットへのマーケティング業務

  • Contributes to build the sales strategies by evaluating current product; identifying customers’ needs; monitoring competitive products; obtaining product market information; analyzing customer reactions. 現行の製品を評価し、顧客のニーズを見つけ、競合製品をモニターし、マーケット情報を獲得し、顧客の声を集めるなどして、セールス戦略の構築に寄与する。
  • Plan the campaign, promotion , web revise, trade show, on-site seminars and excute the plan.キャンペーン、販促、ウェブ改定、展示会、セミナーなどのプランを策定し、実行する。
  • Create sales tools ( flyers, catalogues, etc) カタログ、フライヤーなどの販促ツールを作成する。
  • Metrics to monitor the effectiveness of mkg activities (campaign, promotion, web etc) キャンペーン、販促、ウェブなどのマーケティング活動の効果のモニター、測定をする。
  • Train the sales reps in order that sales reps will have the capability to introduce the products and services to the customers in initial stage.  営業が最初に顧客に製品サービスを紹介できるよう、トレーニングする
  • Create new product numbers, review the prices regularly to be competitive to the markets, handle the anything related to the products, such as  the regulatory assessment. 新製品の型番登録、市場で競争力があるような価格の定期的な見直し、規制対応など製品に関連するすべての窓口として対応する。

  • Communicate with colleagues in abroad as needed to achieve the responsibilities above.上記の責務を果たすために、必要に応じて海外の人とコミュニケーションする。
  • Collaborate with other teams/ members to make sure all issues and inquiries are solved in timely manner 他部署やほかのメンバーと協力しながら、すばやく問題解決や問い合わせに応える
      

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of working experience in Technical Service/ Marketing /sales area, (B2B business is a plus)/
  • Master’s degree in Biochemistry or Biology preferable.
  • Experience in diagnostics, medical or life science industry is a plus
  • Business level proficiency in English (TOEIC 700 or above); Native level Japanese
  • Communication Skill
  • Ability and willingness to travel
