Planning Engineer

eyrise®B.V., develops, manufactures and sells Liquid Crystal Windows under the eyrise™ brand. LC Windows can change their transmission with the switch of a button, providing control over light and heat entering into a building and comfort and privacy to the users. eyrise®B.V. has a first-of-its kind production facility to serve customers in the building market with these products.


Your role

We are looking for a planning engineer (werkvoorbereider) to join our team. The planning engineer is responsible for the correct production planning. The planning engineer is responsible for translation and input of the customer order into the internal order system and preparing the production. From the customer order, he/she creates, plans and follows up the individual orders for the parts that are to be supplied by various in-house and external production units. Finally, the planning engineer ensures the order in all its parts is delivered at the customer site at the right time. His/her internal customer is the sales team, starting with the order intake procedure, order planning and execution. The planning engineer reports to the Production Planning and Supply Chain Manager and works closely with the teams in Sales, Production and Quality/EHS.


The tasks include:

• Review incoming orders for completeness, manufacturability and production timeline

• Execute order entry process, plan order execution in-house and with subcontractors on an operational level

• Arrange supply of raw materials for production in time including making and updating forecast

• Arrange logistics operations for raw materials, components and final products

• Material Stock Management • Interface with 3rd party suppliers for execution of orders

• Generate order status overview for reporting to internal stakeholders


Who you are:

• BSc (HBO) background in technical field

• Demonstrated ability to read and process technical drawings

• Demonstrated ability on basic project management

• Proactive and able to multi task on a regular base

• Languages: English mandatory, Dutch and German highly preferred

• Clear communicator and reporting skills

• Knowledge of AFAS is a pre

• Experienced or specifically interested in developing and implementing a planning tool
