Quality Manager Distribution

Your Role:


An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Manager at our new MilliporeSigma West Coast Distribution Center situated in Visalia CA. Reporting to the Head of Distribution Quality (EMEA & NA), you will be a member of the local management team and the main contact point for Quality and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) topics on site. You will be responsible for setting up and implementing the appropriate guidelines, procedures and standards for compliance, and will ensure proper application of key quality processes such as Risk, Change Control, Complaints, Deviations, Audits and Supplier Management.

As a true partner, you will support local managers on all issues relating to ISO, GDP and Quality in general. To establish, maintain and develop the local quality management system, you will receive the support of the Quality Distribution teams, ISO and the internal operational distribution teams.


The position is based in the US at the new West Coast Distribution Centre in Visalia, CA.



Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree, with a professional experience of at least 4 years in a Quality Systems Management function, ideally in a Distribution/Logistics environment.
  • Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and GDP standards
  • Skills in Project Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Excellent communication, and ability to influence
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage but is not essential.
