Accounting Expert - Working Capital Management (all genders)

Your role: As part of our strategy in the CFO area, CFO Digital Strategy & Realization focuses on driving our journey into digitizing our processes & structuring our data.  As such, we are looking for an Accounting Expert with a history in IFRS and local GAP and a deep knowledge of working capital related accounting processes (Accounts Payable, Receivables & Inventory). You will be working on defining new digital processes, streamlining structures as well as onboarding & educating our teams to simplify our environment & improve user experience. 

In our agile delivery organization, you will drive the definition & ramp-up of a global initiative focusing on Working Capital management collaborating across our Accounting, Controlling & Shared Services teams. You will be accountable for detailing and implementing required product features in user stories and delivering our product backlog. As Functional Expert in our team, you will support definition of user stories and enable the organization in detailing out our strategic product pipeline for initiation of a larger organizational effort around Working Capital.

 

Who you are:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of work experience within Accounting (IFRS & Local Gap)
  • Experience in different Finance departments across the organization, with hands-on experience in operating & transforming accounting processes in our ERPs, especially SAP, Scala (local & global)
  • Prior experience in accounting processes, guidelines & routines, particularly in Accounts Payables, Receivables & Inventory Accounting on a local & global level with prior exposure to manual and semi-automatic routines in daily accounting & month-end close
  • Hands-on experience in  reshaping & stabilizing processes as part of a transformation project
  • Proven track of leading and working in global and cross-functional projects
  • Strong ability to manage a large variety of senior-level key stakeholders and their expectations
  • Track record of working collaboratively and successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment
  • Proven work across matrixed teams & organizations, motivate others, communicate complex ideas clearly, gain the respect of clients and colleagues, and work collaboratively
  • Affinity to technology and track record of establishing efficient system-enabled process routines on local, regional or global level
  • Fluent in English, German a plus
