Your Role:

As a Senior Product Manager – Portfolio Operations, you will work closely with a growing team focused on day-to-day product management activities. You will actively collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders to achieve set portfolio goals while improving customer satisfaction. You will drive implementation of tactical and strategic portfolio initiatives supporting the strategic product management group enabling them to focus and drive innovation and portfolio growth. In this highly visible role, you will be expected to work on some or all activities below:

 

  • Contribute to achievements of strategy and sales targets by operationally managing existing products and product lines throughout their life cycle.
  • Product management of existing product portfolio by understanding the day-to-day needs and ensuring the expected deliverables are met in time.
  • Handle general product line inquiries and issues, such as change notifications, critical quality issues, and critical supply disruptions.
  • Lead the process of implementation of CAPA measures based on critical complaints and supply disruptions.
  • Support new product launches and ensure addition of new products into the systems on time, including the collection of product information, coordination of the internal functions and defining the product/inventory level.
  • Be customer centric and actively drive communication to sales and customers with reference to product queries, changes, and supply risks
  • Support supplier collaboration as relevant to the portfolios and ensure optimal service levels for customers.
  • Enable portfolio optimization by periodically reviewing the product line performance and long tail analysis including portfolio rationalization.
  • Represent the business interest in internal projects and discussions by bringing the customer view, e.g., e-commerce, labels, packaging, Quality-related projects.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or business. Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferentially in the Life Science and/or pharma industry.
  • Strong background in Marketing & Product Management

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in operations management, supply chain or supplier management preferred.
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams and ability to collaborate with in a complex international network of functions and stakeholders to drive decisions is required.
  • Possess a process driven mindset with a drive to analyze the root cause and continuous improvement. Also, digitally savvy.
  • “Can do attitude” and enjoy solving complex problems and simplify/improve processes.
  • Ability to navigate and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects including stakeholder management in a matrix environment.

 

Pay Range for this position: $125,000 - $191,500.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
