• Lead, empower, and inspire teams of platform and AI professionals to achieve ambitious targets and ensure successful implementation and execution of AI initiatives
• Together with China AI Enabling Lead set-up the China AI Hub as the strategic extension of the company's Data & AI Office
• Support Data Culture and Data & AI Upskilling initiatives
• Design and implement a state-of-the-art Data & AI platform on the selected China cloud (e.g. Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud), covering data ingestion, catalog/marketplace, storage, compute, reporting, GenAI and MCP enablement, AI model training/serving, and MLOps
• Strike the balance between open-source components and cloud-native services for core capabilities, based on speed and cost considerations
• Achieve interoperability with the company’s global data & AI platforms, by co-creating with global product teams
• Deliver AI solutions for the company’s China business in close collaboration and co-creation with sector business and IT (“in China for China”)
• Deliver AI solutions across sectors with potentially global scale (“from China for the company globally/regionally”)
• Assure strategic alignment and successful collaboration with critical internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure strict implementation & compliance to Chinese and global data & AI regulations as well as the company’s internal processes as the base for sustainable AI adoption

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data/AI, Engineering or related field
• Strong technical leadership in platform engineering and AI delivery, ideally including leading technical teams
• Hands-on expertise with China Cloud providers (e.g. Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud)
• Track record of designing data/AI platforms (catalog/marketplace, storage/compute, analytics, GenAI/MCP, model training/serving, MLOps)
• Familiarity with open-source data & AI frameworks, ideally contribution to open-source projects
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Strong communication in English and Mandarin
