  • Market Projections & Portfolio Planning: Define local market projections and long-range portfolio plans for the Single Use & Integrated Systems (SUIS) PS portfolio/business line based on China market needs and competition.
  • Innovation & Product Development: Ensure innovation through new product concepts and Product Development Process (PDP), covering early adoption, maturity, and decline phases. Drive execution of Business Development activities, including M&As, licensing, and partnerships, in collaboration with the SUIS Franchise, Strategy team, and Business Franchises Leadership Team.
  • Product Positioning & GTM Strategy: Define product positioning based on application across strategically focused modalities and align with the Focused Modality & New Segment Development team on the go-to-market (GTM) approach.
  • Launch Coordination: Manage and coordinate all local activities within the scope of launching new product developments or product adaptations.
  • Pricing Strategy: Own the pricing strategy for the SUIS portfolio in the region and demonstrate agility in evaluating and approving pricing strategies based on guidance and recommendations from the Pricing Strategy team.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Maintain a high degree of interaction and alignment with Strategy, Business Field, Manufacturing, Commercial, and external partners.
  • Leadership & Strategic Planning: Participate in leadership team meetings and strategic planning, including setting objectives and strategies. Take accountability for implementation and results.
  • Strategic & Operational Execution: Combine highly strategic thinking with strong operational execution skills.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional expert or managerial role in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Single Use/Bioprocessing portfolio and market.
  • Proven track record of building and developing successful teams in direct or lateral matrix management positions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to build and interpret business and market data and derive strategies from it.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead within a complex international network of functions and stakeholders (Commercial, BD, Business Field, Quality, Operations).
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%).
  • Master’s, MBA, or PhD preferred.
