Your role:

We are seeking for a position to join our team as Mechanical Engineer, this role focuses on delivering customized hardware solutions and driving technical advancements for bio-processing hardware that meet customer’s requirements and contribute to successful delivery of the customized project.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bio-pharmaceutical industrial and proficient in mechanical design and manufacturing, along with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Customized HW Project Delivery
  1. Finish the design deliverables such as 2D/3D drawings based on URS, and meet production process, GMP and ASME BPE requirement.
  2. Collaborate with cross function teams to ensure project targets are fully met in terms of TCQ, execute testing activities per request, with customer facing communication related to Mechanical design and manufacturing, complete related documentations during activity.
  3. Analysis on project-based team score card/KPI from monthly trend and work on continuous improvement.
  4. Support before and after sales activities, incl URS interpretation, customer communication, quotation confirm for MECH part, field service installation support, customer complaint analysis etc.
  5. Provide technical support to internal team, customers, and contribute to manufacturing and technical process of outsourced suppliers.
• Drive technical advance initiatives.
  1. Product localization from global giving site as SME for mechanical parts.
  2. Internal design process/quality/efficiency optimization.
  3. System structure standardization to reduce diversity and drive cost optimization.
  4. NPI project with building up new product full chain engineering competence.

Who you are:

Skills:

• Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably Creo (pro/ENGINEER)
• Skillful communication with different functional group and internal/external stakeholders.
• Written and verbal communication both in Chinese and English
• Strong on problem solving

Experience Preference: (Priority by sequence)

• Experienced in biopharmaceutical industry with engineering background.
• Well understand regulations of ASME BPE, GMP, FDA, etc.
• Familiarity with downstream biopharmaceutical products and process (Filtration, Chromatography, Single use product etc.)
• Experience working directly with customer, commercial team, outsourced supplier, and parts vendor.
• Experienced in project-based business mode or project management.
• Experience in global product transfer project. (Nice to have)
• Experienced in new product development. (Nice to have)

Education Background:
