Your role:

Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Being the Dangerous goods and hazardous chemical safety representative for Distribution China team in corporate logistics safety management and other EHS management flow.
• Support Distribution head, driving the implementation of safety management system with other distribution functions.
• Implement distribution safety improvement programs based on organizational target and authority requirement.
• Manage distribution EHS related KPI, support distribution head to achieve yearly EHS target. Drive distribution EHS goals & objective set up.
• Lead internal or external EHS related audit, inspection, and assessment, be response for the CAPA implementation and continually improvement.
• Maintain all distribution site compliance with internal and external requirement.
• Leverage EHS tasks and program which was required by corporate and local government.
• Maintain distribution operation compliance with approval business scope, regular review operation status with all related department.
• Be as fist response person for authority event, inspection and visiting. Report and drive CAPA for any authority findings and observations.
• Lead EHS review for strategy business investment project, coordinate with global expert team to conduct EHS statement review. Identify project EHS risk and opportunity for new project.
• In charge of environment protection, firefighting design, safety design and occupational health protection assessment for new construction project in Distribution China.
• In charge of self-running warehouses facility management and continues improvement, ensure preventive maintenance well planned and conducted at warehouses.
• Lead site facility calibration and validation implementation, coordinate for long term plan for site cold chain facility management.
• In charge of Distribution China CapEx investment projects implementation, support distribution head to create long term investment plan. Driving yearly CapEx project implementation and new project application.

Organizational Development, Relationship Management & Team Leadership

• Enhance distribution safety culture through regular EHS meeting, training, and practice.
• Guide EHS engineer to complete all mandatory EHS tasks and activities, drive EHS team growth with Distribution China team.

Who you are:

• Education:  

• Bachelor degree or above, chemicals engineering, safety engineering and other EHS related education background.

• Working Experience:

1. 7-10 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing, logistics or warehouse management.
2. Experience in site EHS management, OHSAS management.
3. Experience in hazardous chemical trading/manufacturing license applications, safety standardization system maintain.
4. Experience in project EHS management, familiarity with EHS project government approval process and requirement.  

• Technical & Professional Knowledge:

1. In-depth knowledge of China EHS management system including regulatory structure, interpretation of laws and regulation, responsible agency, etc.
2. Certificate of safety engineering and safety management
3. Good safety awareness and risk identification skills
4. Strong gap and root cause analysis skills
5. Good team working skills
6. Self-motivative with clear goal and target
7. Excellent communication skills and
8. Management skill
9. Fluent in English – Read, Write and Speak.
