Your Role:
The Communications Business Partner China will be responsible for developing and executing the regional communications strategy for China, ensuring alignment with global Life Science business objectives and corporate communications. This role will serve as the key communications partner for China leaders and their teams, managing both internal and external communications initiatives that drive engagement, brand positioning, and business success.
The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator who can navigate a matrixed organization, partner closely with high-level leaders, and deliver timely, relevant, and business-driven communications that strengthen employee engagement and enhance company’s reputation in China.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications & Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive China communications strategy aligned with global Life Science and corporate objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial China leadership, offering strategic guidance to optimize messaging, engagement, and reputation.
- Manage crisis communications and change management initiatives.
Internal Communications:
- Develop and execute internal communication plans to engage and align China employees foster alignment with business goals and strengthen organizational culture.
- Support leadership communications, including executive messaging, town halls, and strategic announcements.
- Drive engagement initiatives that enhance culture, collaboration, and motivation across China.
Global Communications & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Support the implementation of the global communication strategy through the delivery of relevant, localized internal and external content.
- Oversee regional PR, media relations, and thought leadership programs to strengthen brand positioning in alignment with global branding and messaging.
- Manage content development for external channels, including social media, press releases, and events in collaboration with External Communications.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure brand consistency and maximize external visibility.
- Serve as the key liaison between China teams and Communications, ensuring smooth coordination of messaging and initiatives.
- Partner with Marcom, HR, and other business functions to amplify key campaigns and announcements.
- Engage with external agencies and vendors as needed to support regional communications projects.
Who You Are:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in the life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media, and content management platforms.

- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
