Your Role:

China Quality Operations

  • To lead and manage China quality team, managing teams’ development needs while aligning with the company objectives and stakeholder’s expectation.
  • To lead, plan, implement and sustain quality system based on ISO9001, GDP and company’s sector procedures for China mainland and HK distribution operations.
  • To prepare and execute all required quality activities (e.g. audit management, CAPAs, deviations, change control).
  • To monitor the quality performance/ qualification of outsourced logistical service providers. To ensure the warehouse and transportation service of suppliers meets requirements.
  • To identify quality risk and support respective teams with mitigation plans. To escalate risks to regional and global risk register(s) as applicable.
  • To participate in projects as required in collaboration with cross-functional groups to achieve quality reliability.

 

Governance - China & SEA

  • To support local distribution and quality representatives on the implementation of company’s procedures, global initiative, systems, and other requirements at the local level.
  • To support distribution site management, focusing on the quality status and performance of the operations network by instilling a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • To ensure compliance of QMS with applicable regulations, company policies, ISO 9001, GDP and other external requirements in China and SEA distribution sites and subsidiaries.
  • To support distribution site management by providing governance to ensure quality of products, services and suppliers in compliance with external regulations and customer quality requirements.
  • To interact with local quality representatives for delivery of quality information from company sector quality and to escalate any risk/critical events from local operations to sector quality.
  • To support local internal audits, sector and group audits, external certification body audits, authority inspections and customer audits as well as supplier audits.
  • To lead and manage critical quality incidents, interact with authorities in conjunction with the Regulatory Management team, and support the Quality Services team in customer interactions.
  • To coordinate and support other quality improvement initiatives in APAC regional and in global organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of direct reports in Quality Distribution team. Managing the team’s development needs while aligning with company and stakeholder’s expectation.
  • Governance of QMS of distribution centers within China and SEA, providing guidance on maintenance of local quality system and escalating quality issues to global sector quality organization.
  • Support sector quality in implementing global quality training, project and programs.
  • Business Partner to APAC ISCO management, supporting relevant quality related APAC training, projects and programs.
  • Provide quality decision on critical events/product disposition/quality processes occurring in governed sites.

 

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years' experience in quality management, ideally in the domain of distribution and transportation. Experience in GDP and/or GMP is required.
  • Experience in project management, quality improvement programs with ability to manage changes.
  • Driver both within the team and in a matrix organization.
  • Extensive knowledge on a broad range of China and Asia quality regulations & industry requirements to support a diverse product mix.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to work across a matrix structure in a global environment.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally.
  • Open minded and customer-focused.
  • Effective team player, you know how to work with different teams in a multicultural matrix environment.
