OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

This position is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing customer accounts and actively selling and promoting biology workflow products within the marketplace located in China region. Emphasis will be on developing key relationships and achieving business growth in line with company profitability requirements.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Mainly responsible for the business development of Protein and Cell Biology workflow via in-field visit and scientific talk with customers within the specified geographical region.

Conduct Biomarker service to ensure multiplex business development in customers without related certificate or experiment conditions. Support in lab demo to promote NPI products.  

Taking feedback from customers regarding their product requirements or needs for supporting marketing team to develop a better marketing strategy for increasing sales business.

STRATEGIC FOCUS:

Develop business opportunities of Protein and Cell Biology workflow products and drive financial revenues.

Develop business relationships network within customer organizations with multiple departmental personnel and functions.

Closely work with strategic account/territory sales team with great collaborations to understand the customers and the market. 

Who you are:

PhD or Master degree major in biology.

Technical experience in the cell or protein research is mandatory.

1-2 years’ working experience in the multiplex service is mandatory.  

Demonstrable strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Proven success in sales and business development would be preferred.

Requires domestic travel.

Advanced computer skills – Python, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Fluent in both English and Chinese; Cantonese will be preferred.
