Your Role:
The PMO will play a critical role in coordinating and driving corporate priorities at the China country level, acting as a key interface between China and global stakeholders including top management. This role will support strategic external engagement activities led by the China President, ensuring effective government and media relations. The successful candidate will facilitate China Country Council initiatives and track progress on follow-up actions to ensure alignment and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and drive the execution of China-level priorities, ensuring alignment with global strategies and seamless engagement with global top management and stakeholders.
- Act as liaison for China President in managing external engagement activities, including dialogues with government officials and interactions with media to enhance company’s presence and relationships in China.
- Organize, facilitate, and support meetings and activities of the China Country Council, ensuring documentation, communication, and follow-up on decisions and action points.
- Monitor progress of ongoing initiatives and projects related to China’s strategic priorities, providing timely updates and escalation to leadership as necessary.
- Support cross-functional collaboration within China to ensure coordinated efforts across different departments and functions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external meetings involving senior leaders.
- Maintain strong stakeholder management skills to build trust and effective communication channels with internal teams and external partners.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in project management, corporate communications in a multinational or large corporate environment.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus.
