Senior Finance Expert, Thailand

Your role: 
The position requires a broad profile – experience and education – in a range of Finance functions covering Accounting, Cash collection, Tax, FP&A/Controlling and Treasury. Place of work will be in the Susonity offices in Bangkok. The tasks shall focus on this entity plus - as Susonity Thailand as a regional distribution center for several Susonity subsidiaries in the APAC region - reaching out to Malaysia, India and Singapore.

Primary tasks:

• Accounting – monitor the Legal Entity’s Balance Sheet and P&L (IFRS), Key figure analysis, report abnormalities; monitor statutory accounts and prepare annual statutory accounts in alignment with Susonity Group Accounting & Tax
• Cash collection – monitor customer payment behavior, initiate dunning process, escalate lasting overdues to Susonity Group CC- and CE teams 
• Tax – ensure local tax compliance by systematically taking care of all tax matters (f.i. monthly VAT, income tax, withholding tax, customs, tax accounting, contacts to tax authorities and external tax advisors)
• FP&A/Cost Acct. – follow up on IWC and local inventory, monitor warehouse- and logistic costs, monthly P&L reporting (act. vs plan), CapEx control
• Treasury – monitor cash at bank and facilitate payment process (in line with principles of segregation of duties)
• Primary local interface to Susonity’s Shared Service Centre
• Other administrative matters – support local management and operational functions regarding administrative tasks, incl. procurement process
• Susonity Thailand is a distribution hub for Sales to several APAC countries. In some of these countries Susonity has subsidiaries (Malaysia) or branches (Singapore, India). à the a.m. functional tasks will also be applicable for these entities
• Reporting line: locally/hierarchically to the MD of Susonity Thailand, functionally to the Susonity Head of Susonity with dedicated function specific links to central Accounting, Tax, FP&A and Treasury.

Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant work experience in finance roles in industry
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Thai GAAP/statutory accounting
• Solid knowledge of Thai tax laws and related hands-on experience; experience with Indian tax regulations and practical handling would be an extra asset
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Diligent, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and compliance mindset
• Solid know how of SAP (S/4 Hana)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in an international context, capable of engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration (or similar) or Chartered Accountant
• Language: Thai as mother tongue plus proficiency in English
