Head of Regional Supply Chain / Logistics

Role Overview

The Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Head is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations across the region. This role oversees supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, import/export compliance, and regional distribution strategies to ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong leadership capabilities, cross-border operational expertise, and the ability to manage complex multi-country supply chain networks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute regional supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supply chain transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehousing, transportation, and distribution functions.
• Build strong regional supply chain governance and performance management frameworks.

Logistics & Distribution Management

• Oversee transportation operations across the region.
• Optimize inbound and outbound logistics networks.
• Manage 3PL providers and logistics partners.
• Ensure timely delivery performance while controlling transportation costs.
• Lead warehouse and distribution center operations across the region.

Supply Chain Planning

• Lead demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply planning activities for local country specific scope
• Ensure appropriate stock levels while minimizing working capital exposure in line with global network planning and push strategy
• Coordinate closely with sales, customer service, global planning. and finance teams.
• Improve forecast accuracy and contribute to efficient S&OP processes.

Operational Excellence

• Improve operational performance continuously based on globally established KPIs for logistics performance, inventory turns, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and cost efficiency.
• Identify and implement automation and digitalization opportunities.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for supply chain disruptions.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Lead and mentor regional supply chain and logistics teams.
• Collaborate with country leadership teams and global supply chain functions.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate logistics contracts.
• Present operational performance updates to senior leadership.

• Understanding of China specific requirements and market to build competitive advantage
• Strong knowledge of region logistics and customs environments.
• Experience managing regional distribution networks and transportation operations.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
