Commercial Data Architect & Process Automation

Your role: 

 

In this context, you would join the Sales Enablement team which is an essential part of the Commercial EMEA Organization within Life Science. As a Data Architect you will work in close collaboration with our Commercial Leadership teams, IT and Process Excellence translating business requirements into structured solutions and AI technology. You are passionate about data-driven innovation, showcasing its potential and how this can be translated into tangible business value. In addition, you will ensure in-time delivery of process automation / improvement solutions and in detail documented business processes (as-is and to-be) within our Sales Enablement Team. Specific responsibilities include: Create concepts and define data landscape / architecture to transform data to insights for our commercial organization to increase salesforce effectiveness; Develop analytical solutions in SAP BI, Tableau and Palantir / Big Data environment; Work directly with Commercial Management to elaborate data analytic topics; Usage of predictive analytics methods to support the development of fact driven management strategies; Execute / drive projects as needed to deliver process improvements; Collaborate across organization to brainstorm and find efficient ways to tackle technical, infrastructure, security, or development problems.

 

Who you are: 

 

- Master's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field.

- Proficient in MS Office, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, CRM (Salesforce.com), Palantir or similar

- Proficient in SQL, Python, PYSpark, VBA

- Exposure to PHP and front-end design would be a plus

- Profound knowledge in relational and file-based database design

- Advanced proficiency in Excel functions such as complex formulas, macros, Power Pivots

- Proficient working with extracting, formatting, validating and analyzing large data sets

- Experience using big data analytics applications and programs such as R preferred

- Business acumen and supportive mindset

- Previous experience in sales is a real plus

- Ability to thrive in a complex matrix environment

- Experience in the life science, pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred

- A sound knowledge of written and spoken English

 

Location: This role can be placed in Italy (Milan), Germany (Darmstadt), France (Molsheim)
