#2 Resolving customers’ problems

“Every day I am in contact with customers from all kinds of backgrounds, meaning that I never know what type of questions will wait for me that day! It could be anything from looking up a product which is suitable for the customer’s experiment or intended use, it could be a troubleshooting or discussion of an unexpected experimental result, or a product application detail. The customer’s issue could be resolved in a matter of minutes with a simple phone call, or it may take longer and include literature research, internal communication with the quality department, product managers, scientific discussions with colleagues, etc. It is the best part of my job that I can make the customer’s life a bit easier by taking problems off their shoulders!”
