Your role: An experienced field based commercial role positioned with Life Sciences Services (LSS), selling the Contract Testing Services (CTS) portfolio of biosafety testing services. You will have full understanding of the current biotechnology market, including traditional and novel modalities, the production processes utilized and an understanding of developer’s key priorities, with regards to establishing the safety profile of their therapy. Significant sales skills are essential to achieve or exceed the sales targets; you will develop a strategic plan to ensure repeatable, sustainable long term revenue growth. You will be able to identify your customer’s needs, goals & challenges, and position solutions. You would be able to work remotely while proactively driving growth in the sales territory, by being highly self-motivated, assertive, and well organized, with excellent time management. You would be able to build relationships, communicate clearly and be collaborative. Travel requirement within sales territory is approximately 50%, with minimal international travel. 
 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Virology or related Life Science discipline       
  • 5+ years of direct selling experience to pharma and biopharma companies
  • Understands the Life Science market, proactively researches customers and owns the client relationship
  • Anticipates complex business issues that may impact organizational results and communicates the risks; involving internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to generate accurate business forecasts and proactively grow a sales territory
  • Work with key business partners to develop cross-discipline relationships up to the C-suite
  • Must speak Dutch, other languages welcome
