Your Role:

As Global Category Manager you will be member of the leadership team of Sourcing for DS&S (Delivery Service & System). You will be able to drive a global category sourcing strategy that secures and steers project for Large Semiconductor Equipment and Construction Projects together with other functions and interfaces, such as Engineering and Commercial. Market monitoring and analysis paired with forecasting together with the business will be key to ensure proper supply of materials and ensure smooth execution of our projects.

This Senior Procurement role is responsible for developing and implementing a global sourcing strategy to ensure the continuity of execution and implementing of large turnkey projects to the DS&S Business and working closing external key partners as well as engineering to ensure we subcontract and manage large turnkey projects from a raw material and service sourcing side.

• Vendor management and being the key window to interact and manage our supplier
• Bidding process and Contract negotiation with selected vendors
• Strategic Sourcing, developing a strategy for your respective category in line with the demand and forecast
• Acting as the owner for this crucial category to enable future business growth and plan the supply chain including potential vendor identification and development ahead and proactively drive towards solutions that support business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with commercial teams, product management and engineering globally on e.g. qualifying new vendors or monitor and communicate supplier performance reviews

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a related discipline (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted)
• +15 years related experience, including significant project/management/leadership experience.
• Specific Procurement Category Expertise, especially for Construction, Services and Plant Equipment and ideally (nice to have) in the semiconductor area
• Strong negotiation, project management and team skills
• Thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo
• Very good communication skills (English & Korean)
• Willingness to travel and international mobility to support the business
