Your Role:

This position will supervise a team of production staff to meet Safety, Quality and Productivity targets to ensure that production meets the agreed target.

• Perform the role of the management supervisor of the PSM plant.
• Directs and controls production staff involved in production activities ensuring that day-to-day production objectives are achieved.
• Plans production activities to achieve work-in-process targets.     
• Develops the production process and verifies new production processes.
• Implements the global process harmonization.
• Successfully adapt new equipments by validation work.
• Organizes material flows and inventory to reach production targets.     
• Compiles production data.     
• Supervises workers and monitors production quality to minimize rejections.     
• Evaluates manpower needs and assigns available resources.     
• Supervises and trains a team of production staff.

Who you are

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications can be advantageous.
• +5~10 years of experience in production management roles, preferably within semiconductor material supply companies or semiconductor manufacturing facilities. (Significant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related industries is essential.)
• Dangerous Goods Certificate or Chemical Engineering Certificate
• Safety Awareness: Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulations in semiconductor manufacturing environments to ensure a safe working environment for employees.
• Quality Assurance: Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that manufactured products meet customer specifications and industry requirements.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of semiconductor materials, manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards is crucial. They should be familiar with cleanroom operations, chemical processes, and equipment maintenance.
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate production teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with using production management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other tools to monitor production metrics, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
• Problem-solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize processes, and implement solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.
• Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are necessary for coordinating with cross-functional teams, providing updates to stakeholders, and resolving conflicts as they arise.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to continuous improvement and implementing best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production operations.
• Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics to ensure timely delivery of semiconductor materials and components to customers.
