Within the Biotechnology Production department at the Aubonne site, you will lead the FSH production team, a high-performing team of technicians and engineers specialized in the production of drug substances. You will report directly to the Production Biotechnology Director, with whom you will collaborate closely.
In your leadership role, you will manage approximately 15 people. You will manage, organize, and monitor all activities carried out in your two production suites (Upstream and Downstream) to ensure API production according to the established schedules, with the required quality, and in compliance with applicable safety standards.
You challenge the status quo, are results-oriented and focused on continuous improvement, while prioritizing the engagement and development of your employees.


Your role:
 
•    Service: Establish and execute production plannings to ensure API volumes are delivered on time, according to the Supply demand and in compliance with applicable cGMPs
•    Risk management: Identify and mitigate/eliminate potential risks and issues to ensure flawless production activities in terms of safety, quality and business
•    Leadership: Lead production teams to support daily production activities, while ensuring the employees development and fostering teams’ engagement
•    Budget management: Follow-up on budget, while ensuring priorization and implementation of efficiency projects
•    EHS: Ensure production processes meet applicable safety regulations


Who you are:  

•    Master’s degree (or equivalent) or PhD in the field of Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Chemistry with a 5+ years professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
•    Perfect knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes and cGMP requirements
•    5+ years of experience in management in the pharmaceutical industry with a particular focus on employees’ development and engagement
•    A collaborative team player, focussed on delivering results and on continuous improvement
•    Communication with Impact, fluent in French and English
