Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional operations and project teams to ensure the successful completion of the project within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage the infrastructure projects in existing or new pharmaceutical and/or industrial facilities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget with a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure the timely delivery of milestones within project including start up and commissioning of facilities or equipment required for the project.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards throughout the construction process.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and site leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, internal and/or external to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, budget, and resource utilization.
  • Actively participate in the construction and maintenance of the Capex investment programs and initiatives, for the department in which he manages projects.
  • Set an example by adopting impeccable behavior, as well as being an ambassador of the Merck culture (HIC).
  • Promote team spirit and encourage internal collaboration within the team and on the site.
  • Unite the team members participating in the projects under his responsibility, by creating a healthy, transparent, and caring working atmosphere.
  • Ensure technological monitoring in your area of ​​skills and expertise, as well as in project management processes.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering field or similar
  • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in industrial and pharmaceutical facilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Project Management Professional certification and or experience
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing / pharmaceutical facilities
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Familiarity with industrial standards and regulations related to pharmaceutical manufacturing
