Your role

As a Senior Site Product Manager, you will serve as the key site-level project and technical leadership point for assigned complex product lifecycle and manufacturing activities spanning the full end-to-end biotech manufacturing scope: Drug Substance, Drug Product / Fill & Finish, and Final Product / Packaging. In this role, you will lead high-impact initiatives — including technology transfers, validation activities, new product introductions, major process changes, and cross-functional issue resolution — with a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability for delivering agreed site outcomes.

You will connect complex technical and manufacturing topics to their business, quality, regulatory and supply implications, translating them into clear, decision-oriented recommendations for senior stakeholders. Operating across functions and sites without direct authority, you will align local and global teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (Global MSAT) to protect product quality, patient supply, and business continuity. In unexpected events, you will help drive pragmatic, scientifically sound and compliant solutions to protect batch viability and supply continuity. You will also coach and mentor fellow Site Product Managers, supporting knowledge sharing and continuous development of project management practices across the group, and act as a driver of positive change by identifying continuous improvement opportunities and improving ways of working across functions.

Who you are

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline; an advanced degree — Master’s or PhD — is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, Manufacturing Science and Technology, technology transfer, validation, quality, or a related technical function within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end, including scope definition, milestone planning, risk management, and stakeholder governance.
  • Strong understanding of biotech manufacturing and product lifecycle management across Drug Substance, Drug Product / Fill & Finish, and Final Product / Packaging.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical topics into clear business impact assessments and decision recommendations for senior audiences.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand how technical or manufacturing decisions may impact cost, supply, batch value, regulatory commitments and patient supply.
  • High autonomy, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership; able to anticipate risks early and drive pragmatic mitigation plans under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional and cross-site stakeholders without direct authority, including experience managing regulatory documentation and CAPA follow-up.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to challenge unnecessary complexity and drive positive change across functions.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Project management certification or advanced training — such as PMP, Agile, or equivalent — is an asset.
