The objective of the Software Specialist is to create and maintain focus, enthusiasm and momentum of the program to drive timely completion of key milestones and ensure the program goals are met.
 

Your role:

The Software Specialist is responsible for designing, describing, and managing digital solutions in relation to specific business problems. The role will support and promote the senior leadership’s mission, vision, and strategic plan for Digitalization and Automation and report progress at regular intervals to the Sponsors.
To facilitate this role the Software Specialist is responsible for:
• Finding the best technical solution among all possible to solve existing business problems.
• Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of solutions to project stakeholders.
• Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
• Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develop framework for Digital solutions to help the company meet it’s strategic goals
• Collaborate with end-users to determine requirements to address specific business needs
• Negotiate with stakeholders to focus on essential business needs
• Design and deliver Solutions to meet all essential business and compliance requirements
• Project and resource management
• Manage risks to ensure Product/Solution Delivery
• Actively engage with tasks and people to influence and drive action
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Digitalization and Automation Team Operations Systems SMEs
• Provide consultancy services to the business to develop electronic records.
• Ensure new solutions are compatible with existing systems
• Develop and provide Training programs for End users

 

 

Who you are:

 

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or better Master's degree in Lab Operations, IT, or Digitization & Automation preferred

Experience and Requirements:

  • Work in a team environment, can facilitate high performing teams and decision making based on what’s best for the business/project with minimal direction
  • Experience with business process and LabWare LIMS system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Data Integrity, within a GXP setting
  • Experience in full lifecycle development projects with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment is considered beneficial
  • Be able to build strong working relationships and keep the team focused on the project and manage and resolve challenges in project meetings
  • Excellent listening and communication skills in English (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Strong organizational, time-keeping, and multi-tasking skills; agile mind-set
  • Team Player who is result oriented and strong affinity to transparency
