Your role:

Low Code Application Development Manager will manage Low Code Application Development function of Intelligent Automation COE. This role will be responsible to drive Low Code No Code application development strategy for platforms like ServiceNow & Power Apps. You will be responsible to manage architecture, delivery and support for low code apps.

Who you are:

Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science

Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written)

Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Primary Skills:

1. Proven experience 12-14 years total experience in developing, designing and delivering solutions on platform like ServiceNow, Microsoft Technology stacks.
2. Experienced in managing development project across all phases.
3. Should have good experience in implementing ServiceNow for GBS operations and end to end automation.
4. Good know how on ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HRSD, S2P, LSD and capabilities like Virtual Agent, App Engine, Integrations, Performance Analytics
5. Good to have know how around Microsoft Power Platform capabilities
6. Experienced in driving the automation & digitalization initiatives for Global Business Services function
7. Understand IT Enterprise Architecture well to best utilize different IT capabilities.

Secondary Skills:

1. Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through Automation  solutions.
2. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams within large and matrixed organisations

Job Description/ Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Management
   • Create, contribute and drive strategy for low code no code function
   • Promote and communicate low code no code function’s strategy across Merck Business Services (MBS)
   • Promote ServiceNow as key platform for Service Operations & Management for MBS to meet MBS Service Management needs
2. Delivery Management:
   • Interact with business stakeholder to understand pain points, needs and build demand healthy pipeline.
   • Manage and build delivery plan for Low Code app development demands
   • Ensure architecture landscape is created and managed for different applications being built on ServiceNow
   • Execute and monitor all aspect of project management to deliver multiple project in time with quality.
   • Collaborate with Platform team to align on delivery plan, solutioning, licensing as per aligned ways of working.
   • Create reliable & scalable solution designs adhering to the best practices.
   • Implement technical governance on supplier deliverables to ensure best practices are followed
   • Effectively co-ordinate with multiple teams for requirements, infrastructure needs
   • Build design & development best practices, guidelines and templates
3. Innovation
   • Understand multiple capabilities of platforms and evaluate applicability to solve the business problems.
   • Present multiple features demoes for business and perform POC to evaluate capabilities
   • Work with Product vendors to implement advanced platform capabilities like GenAI
   • Keep eye on market technology trends and how similar platforms are being utilized by other organizations
4. Stakeholder Management:
   • Should have excellent stakeholder management skills to understand business expectation and deliver it through multiple teams
   • Drive multiple initiatives with varied skilled stakeholders across different roles
   • Manage frequent governances, communication with stakeholders on operations and strategic initiatives
5. People Management:
   • Manage globally distributed multi skilled team taking care of Performance  Management Cycle, learning and development and career progressions
