Role Description

 

Overall responsible for one of the sections of manufacturing operations which entails production of fine chemicals & hazardous processes.

  • Keeping high EHS and quality standard
  • Customer Centric supply excellence
  • Financial Margin and assets optimization/maintenance
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Stakeholder Management
  • For processes, team management & team effectiveness.
  • Man, Machine, Material availability pertaining to section to achieve Monthly & Yearly KPI.
  • Routine production & maintenance in co-ordination with cross functional team.
  • Keep EHS, Quality standard to our company policy and requirement.
  • Ensure all documentations pertaining to operations and ISO requirement.
  • Identifying, recording & analysing non-conformance related to the product /processes & finding out solutions to mitigate/Troubleshoot them.
  • Apply lean -TPM principles like 6S, RCA and CAPA, Daily management System etc,
  • Mentor, coach and develop direct reportees.
  • Cost optimization by improving yield/productivity, energy conservation, waste reduction etc .
  • Flexible for shift operation & work on weekend as per requirement
  • Eliminate/minimize breakdown, risk on safety etc.
  • Improve MTTR &MTBF of critical equipment.
  • Maintain safety stock and ordering of consumables.

 

Job Requirements

  •  BE / B Tech Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical /Instrumentation Engineering from recognized university / institute with approx. 8 to 15 years of experience in Manufacturing and Managing team of shift in charges and operators.
  •  Technical Skills and Knowledge pertaining to process equipment’s.
  •  Analytical & Team Management skill.
  •  Knowledge of Lean 6 sigma and its application tools in problem solving .
  •  Knowledge of Business processes & Manufacturing processes.
  •  Good communication skills.
  •  Good Leadership skills, Project Management.
  •  Ability to plan, prioritize & control overall section operation including maintenance.
  • Good decision-making skill.
  •  Good Interpersonal skill, collaborating with cross functional team.
  •  Developing & managing team.
  •  Developing subordinates by imparting training and educating by upgrading their knowledge time to time.
  • Hands on experience in TPM Methodology.
