Your role: Join the new Discovery Solutions Customer Success group as the Quotes Manager, where you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for managing quotes and tenders within the Customer Success Team. This role includes leading geographically organized teams across Asia-Pacific (APeC) to ensure effective management of quote generation. The Global Lead will focus on harmonizing automation efforts and driving the conversion of quotes to digital direct processes, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the geographically organized teams in APeC, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals for each regional team to drive accountability and success in managing quotes and tenders.
Quote Management:
- Oversee the management of quotes, ensuring adherence to existing processes while identifying opportunities for improvement and standardization.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely and accurate quote generation and submissions, facilitating a seamless customer experience.
Automation and Digital Transformation:
- Drive initiatives to harmonize automation processes related to quotes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Lead the conversion of traditional quote processes to a digital direct model, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve customer engagement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the quotes and tenders processes.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the team and drive customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in sales support, quotes and tenders management, or related roles, with a focus on B2B environments.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements in quotes and tenders management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in managing geographically diverse teams and understanding regional market dynamics.
