Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager & Release manager to oversee

the services of our Clinical applications in DDIT R&D and all associated integration, interface & release activities clinical applications of Healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will involve in existing project related activities and successful transition of Projects to services along with designing the release management model & integration concept.

 

The Release Manager and Interface Manager is responsible for overseeing the release management process and managing system interfaces within IT systems in a healthcare environment. This role ensures that software releases are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards while managing the integration of various healthcare IT systems.

Have Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to understand ongoing projects, provide feedback, develop Hypercare and Go-live model.

You should be a diligent, dedicated individual who can learn new systems and processes rapidly, collaborate with virtual teams, and possess a proven track record of delivering outstanding quality for the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Coordinate Releases: Develop and manage release schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of timelines and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of all releases, addressing any defects or issues prior to deployment.
  • Change Management: Implement change management processes to minimize disruption during software releases, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal project teams, Business, technical teams and external vendors, to facilitate smooth transition to Service Delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Business, acting as the primary point of contact for release and integration queries.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and GxP and Non-GxP standards.
  • Display a sense of urgency in completion of key responsibilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, or related roles, preferably in the Healthcare, Life science or technology sectors.
  • Strong experience in managing cloud applications, stakeholder management. Medidata Experience is the key.
  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations and compliance in the healthcare or life science industry.
  • Proven ability to manage complex requests and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Change and Release Management.
  • Knowledge of validation & qualification processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects supported with external consultants and be comfortable in working with both business- and technical teams.
  • Strong perseverance, a high degree of initiative and independence, with the ability to work as an individual contributor and manage tasks independently, while collaborating with people from various backgrounds/cultures/time zones, coupled with strong partner interface skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, SNOWFLAKE and basic cloud infrastructure is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English.
