Job Role:

You are part of a global team that operates SAP HANA database systems on different platforms. You install, operate, upgrade and maintain complex SAP HANA landscapes which range from hosting SAP ERP, SAP BW, Business Objects, SAP MDM, SAP HR to SAP SRM and Solution Manager systems. Your focus is on SAP HANA database technology. This includes cloud systems and a hybrid cloud / on premise architecture. You will be responsible for the technical support of SAP HANA database systems and related environments. This will include participation in architecture, engineering and operational activities.

An important focus of your work is the qualification of the infrastructure GxP relevant SAP HANA database systems. You will be trained and examined as Qualification owner and in this role, you create and maintain Qualification Plans, Qualification Reports, Installation Qualifications etc., and you support the Company infrastructure qualification process.

You shall work and consult with various project teams to ensure that SAP HANA Systems are integrated into various applications & comprehensively tested to ensure system robustness, acceptable performance, and reliability. You create and contribute to technical procedures, technical documentation, and cross team training.

You work continually to develop advanced skills and strive to foster broader organizational maturity in these areas.

Responsibilities will also include:

• Will innovate and to learn new skills as required in supporting a continually changing technical environment.
• SAP HANA implementation, upgrades, and support.
• Responsible for establishing and executing business recoveries and procedures.
• Ability to monitor and report on multiple deliverables and projects with a focus on meeting/exceeding deadlines.
• You support internal and external audits, delivering the documentation and mitigate audit findings.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required for the timely resolution of complex issues.
• Able to implement processes to continue to improve operational stability.
• Ability to innovate and to learn new skills as required in supporting a continually changing technical environment.
• Ability to occasionally work non-standard shifts and/or on-call to support based on the requirements of the organization.

Preferred:

• SAP Basis/Linux experience
• Experience with Data integration tools (BODS, SDI, SAC, etc.)
• Database Administration Information technology services experience.
• SAP HANA experience (including installation and upgrading)
