Your Role :

• Lead and coordinate projects, operations, and system environments within Financial Planning & Analytics.

• Administer and maintain the central TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics platform supporting finance and controlling functions.

• Enhance and extend TM1 databases with new requirements, master data, processes, rules, and perform rigorous testing.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively introducing new ideas and optimizing system performance.

• Collaborate with internal clients, developers, and IT peers to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and modifications.

• Approve and oversee non-avoidable customizations, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.

• Orchestrate architecture design decisions and manage the TM1 lifecycle at Merck.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to the TM1 application group and foster a high-performing team culture.

• Leverage TM1py for automation, API integration, and scripting to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enable advanced customization.

      Experience: 5–10 years in multinational environments with complex IT transactions.

• 5+ years in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) / Cognos.

• 2+ years with SQL databases and queries.

• Deep understanding of TM1 architecture, development principles, and finance-related applications.

• Knowledge and experience with TM1py (Python-based automation and integration library for TM1) will be considered a strong advantage.

• • Strong conceptual thinking and project management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Proficiency in English.

    • IBM Analytics/TM1 certifications are a strong plus.

    • Proven ability to build, guide, and sustain expert teams.
