Your Role

  • Align operational and program objectives across Supply Chain functional environments, ensuring quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain operational applications to a high degree of availability, performance, quality, and compliance. Mitigate risk by demonstrating change control, release, and incident/problem management.
  • Lead root cause analysis across operational environments to identify underlying issues and drive structured, measurable and scalable solutions.
  • Manage and improve services with third party support organizations; set and monitor SLAs ensuring solution fixes are aligned to organisational objectives. ‑party support organizations; set and monitor SLAs ensuring
  • Collaborate across IT and the business to prioritise and implement key design decisions, utilising change control processes, and deployment approaches across operational ERP and APO landscapes.
  • Orchestrate delivery across complex project portfolios and operational run activities, integrating with adjacent domains (manufacturing, logistics, order management, master data).
  • Engage and align diverse business and IT stakeholder communities (Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Data Experts, Supply Chain Operations) to ensure value realization.
  • Act as a self-starter highlighting areas for improvement; evaluate and introduce new technologies (e.g., modern planning capabilities, data/analytics, automation) to enhance outcomes. ‑starter highlighting areas for improvement; evaluate and introduce new technologies (e.g., modern planning capabilities, data/analytics, automation) to enhance outcomes.
  • Build and develop a high performing team across SAP S/4 and SAP APO, providing inputs to  budgeting, program planning, landscape maintenance, refreshes and resource planning.‑performing team. Transition our SAP APO support capability to SAP IBP in line with future programs.

Who You are

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years leading IT for supply chain planning within operational and project environments from an industry capability or consulting background – preferably from a Life Science background.
  • Proven experience of implementing change across complex ERP/APS landscapes (SAP ECC, S/4, APO) for supply chain functionalities; exposure to SAP IBP beneficial.
  • Proven operational leadership of mission critical applications with strong ITIL disciplines; expert in root cause analysis. ‑critical applications with strong ITIL disciplines; expert in root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing third‑party providers and complex multi‑vendor environments with contractual and performance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success across complex operational and project IT landscapes, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills in global settings.
  • Self‑starter with a track record of identifying opportunities and delivering technology‑driven enhancements.

This role sits within Life Science DDIT and partners closely with business leadership to deliver reliable operations and meaningful transformation in supply chain planning.
