Position Title: Senior Analyst

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Scope of the responsibility lies within Lab Water Business Support

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

Senior Analyst supports Product Managers, Marketing Managers and Project Managers in execution of tasks related to Product Life Cycle Management/New Product Introduction by collaborating with Cross-functional teams using various systems for LSB Business.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

· Accurately process pricing and data in multiple ERPs (Oracle, SAP Next, Tempo plus... using Unite share point)

· Contribute to the implementation of pricing operation processes, pricing KPIs, pricing tools and applications

· Ensure Web visibility (Blue and Red), status modification on MDG-M

· Data cleaning and analysis projects (data uploads including data quality checks, root cause analysis and action items derived from the inconsistencies)

· Support the team in Ad-Hoc pricing requests

· Act as a primary interface with Operational Organizations [Manufacturing, Purchasing, Tech Service, QA, etc]

· Supports Product Life Cycle Management through SAP & Web Data Maintenance using various tools

· Create and maintain appropriate documents and tracking systems for existing products update (i.e., product numbers, technical bulletins/product information sheet review, certificate of analysis, certificate of origin, specification review, create product listing on the website)

· Supports NPDI process

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

Postgraduate in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology) from a reputed University. Experience: 2-4 Years in Scientific Industry

Technical Skills / Competencies:

 

· Strong emotional intelligence and profound orientation towards the expectations of internal and external customers is a must

· Ability to network and build strong relationships across the Commercial Area, Marketing and supporting business functions

· Cross-functional influencing skills, global team player and cultural awareness

· Proactive, resourceful, pragmatic and ability to get things done in a timely manner

· Fluent in English with excellent English writing and presentation skills

· Experience in working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of CRM Salesforce.com and SAP Next would be an asset.

 

Behavioral Competencies:

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Good organizational skills

· Proficient in Problem solving, Planning & execution

· Good proficiency in Customer orientation, Business acumen and Leading change.

 

ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS

 

Since the responsibilities include being involved in frequent calls with the Product management, Project leads and Vendors who are mostly located in the North America and European continent, the work hours would be from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST, subject to slight modifications based on company policy.
