Title: Senior Analyst – Network Operations Engineer

Location: Electronic City- Phase 1, Bangalore

Description:

Your Role: The Network Operations Engineer will be part of a team of experts responsible for handling network/security support including incident, and service request management. The team will also manage network performance by maintaining network software configurations, managing the distribution of patches and software releases, network and system trouble shooting, monitoring tools, and alarm conditions. This engineer will interface with field operations, engineering teams, equipment vendors and network service providers.

Required Skills:

Must Haves:

• 4-9 years of experience.
• Expertise in knowledge in LAN/WAN and troubleshooting
• Expertise in Network Infrastructure and Technologies (Routing & switching)
• Advanced knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Routing protocols like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP etc
• Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting LAN technologies like VTP, STP, Port-channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP
• Good experience in troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Basic/Good knowledge in monitoring tools (CA Spectrum/SolarWinds/ManageEngine)
• Basic/Good knowledge in Windows and Linux Operating systems
• Good knowledge in ITSM process (INC, RITM and Change process)
• Ready to work in 24/7 shifts.
• Experience working in a team oriented.
• Good communication skill (verbal and written)

Nice to Have

• Proxy solution - BlueCoat/ForcePoint/Zscaler
• Good/Expert knowledge in Firewalls

Certifications:

• CCNA, CCNP certification.
