Senior Analyst - SDS Authoring

Your Role: 

You will be part of SDS Authoring team and responsible for creating Safety Data Sheets for various portfolios from various NPI workflows and Mailbox. Provide comprehensive information about a substance or mixture for use in workplace chemical management. This includes the creation , revision and Updating of SDS.​

The key responsibilities would be,

  • Profound understanding of GHS Regulation.
  • Creating Safety Data Sheets for various portfolios from various NPI workflows.
  • Efficiently manage complex inquiries, provide comprehensive information about a substance or mixture for use in workplace chemical management.
  • Ensure timely updates and maintain data integrity across all platforms.
  • Understands basic regulatory data in SAP and has a high-level understanding of the SDS Authoring processes, while requiring direction for classification and chemical analysis tasks in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Works to develop competency and reliability in supporting SDS authoring processes.
  • Execute and learn basic Excel formulas as per process requirements, also Aware of the formatting, document creation, import and export of all MS Office tools like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Authors MANGO documents for audit purposes, actively participates in audit activities, applies principles of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015, and supports basic KPI reporting and data management activities.
  • Support various projects to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes, while assisting in process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency in compliance activities.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining compliance-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency with regulatory standards.
  • Train team members on the SDS authoring processes when required.

Who You Are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Organic Chemistry/Chemistry.
  • Profound knowledge on GHS, CLP.
  • Experience using the SAP EHS module.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • 4-6 Years of experience in relevant field is must
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including use of basic formulas relevant to compliance tasks.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • UNITAR certification for classification and labelling of products.
