Title: Specialist - Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Bangalore

 

Purpose of the Role:

The Global Scientific Communications Content Hub is a growing, high performing, collaborative team responsible for developing medical communications, medical education  and medical information content in close collaboration with a range of teams across Healthcare. The team is based in Global Healthcare's multi-disciplinary R&D (Research & Development) Hub in Bengaluru and working together across our Global Medical Units (Oncology, N&I, Fertility, CM&E and Global Health).

We are seeking experienced Graphic design professional who would like to develop their career and join us in this exciting undertaking. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

Acts as an individual contributor for internal graphic design needs by the Global Scientific Communications Content Hub.

Individual Contributor Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with Scientific Writers and other Graphic Designer to understand design enhancement needs and execute within agreed timelines
  • Works on projects from creative brief to final deliverable, including executing final production with a strong understanding of digital and print ready artwork preparation (understanding of bleeds, related color and image editing functionalities on multiple tools)
  • Develops congress poster layouts, perform slide set formatting and prepare videos; recreate/redrawing of complex graphical elements, infographics, audio and video editing, etc.
  • Timely preparation and delivery of visually appealing and accurate medical communication materials
  • Manages and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines 

 

Who You Are:

Qualification: 

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (desirable) or Diploma in graphic design/visual design

Required Experience:

  • 3 - 6 years of graphical design experience in medical communications or relevant medical function (desirable)

Key skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, graphic design tools and the adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects, Inkscape, etc.)
  • Ability to generate and edit video and audio files
  • Experience in UX/UI design (desirable)
  • A good understanding of medical communications field is desirable
  • Awareness of the current creative and digital trends in the industry
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language)
