Role Description:

We are looking for cloud native software Engineer to join our growing team, as a part of our new MDAO team, you will impact the business of Healthcare, Life Sciences, Performance Materials, and MGF. Together we build solutions that will enable a seamless, highly scalable omnichannel experience for a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. You will work closely with the Orgn. Data office to maintain Data lake and data platforms by leveraging the power of data to Data scientists, data engineers, and business users.

Key Accountabilities

Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide drive value from data at our orgn Scale.

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data lake,re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Data lake Optimization, automation of manual tasks, Security enhancement and monitoring of data pipelines are our key focus areas.

Interact with our orgn engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.

Engage with Project Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities, and deliver solutions by leveraging the power of data.

Flexibility to support project issues during the weekend and non-working hours.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of strong working experience

• Must be comfortable to work in Electronic City Location

• Must have strong AWS knowledge in managing the analytics platform.

• To be involved in setting up security and authorization policies and implementing scalable data pipelines within (and to) Foundry.

• Develop data connection agents for various data sources - structured and un-structured - into Palantir Foundry

• Candidate must have strong knowledge and hands on experience in Python.

• Besides working on projects, act as third level support for critical applications; analyze and resolve complex incidents/problems. Debug problems across a full stack of Foundry and code based on Python, Pyspark, and Java.

• Candidates must have hands on experience in object types, hubble, contour, fusion and forms in foundry.

• Candidate must have good understanding on code repositories and code workbooks on Palantir foundry.

• Deploy applications on Foundry platform infrastructure with clearly defined checks

• DevOps project setup following Agile principles (e.g., Scrum)

• Besides working on projects, act as third level support for critical applications; analyze and resolve complex incidents/problems. Debug problems across a full stack of Foundry and code based on Python, Pyspark, and Java

• Able to design and implement data integration between Palantir Foundry and external Apps based on Foundry data connector framework

• Good knowledge of Big Data framework and related technologies (Spark, Hive, Hadoop, NoSQL...)

• Strong system administration experience including Unix/Linux OS installation/hardening/patching, networking, firewalls, load balancers, SSH, mail and DNS

• Candidate must have good insight on data analytics framework using contour, Quiver, Code workbook etc..

• Candidate must write, evaluate, and deploy code and models in Foundry to simulate what-if scenarios.

• Candidate must have good understanding on designing the Foundry Ontology and building applications on top of the data in Foundry

• Candidate must have good understanding on The Foundry security model and data governance procedures.

  Profound experience in building cloud-native systems.

• Solid hands-on experience in software development and delivery.

• Technical leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and leading engineering teams.

• Expertise in the Palantir Foundry Tool Set, specifically:

•   - Workshop

•   - Slate

•   - Object Explorer

•   - Ontology

•   - Code Repositories

•   - Contour

•   - PySpark (experienced level)

•   - SQL

• Strong understanding of Spark (distributed computing).

• Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Experience in Low Code Application Development.

• Strong analytical mindset, fact-driven, and eager to engage in constructive discussions.

• Excellent team player, accountable, and thinks cross-functionally.

• Fluent in English.
