Your role

• Responsible for managing the end-to-end Procure to Pay process, overseeing vendor performance and relationships, and ensuring full compliance with the organization's Purchasing Policy through effective controls and governance.
• Ensure on-time PR to PO conversion by leveraging a strong understanding of the Procure to Pay cycle, Order Management, RFQ process, and Supplier Management, while conducting cost analysis to support data-driven procurement decisions
• Follow up with vendors for timely order acknowledgement, expedite, de-expedite, cancellation, past due recovery dates and ensure timely system updates.
• Co-ordinate with suppliers and internal/external teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, processing of goods receipts and vendor payments
• Proactively lead problem solving initiatives in case of delayed deliveries, including root cause analysis for delays.
• Ensure to keep updated vendor material master.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
• Lead and complete at least two strategic procurement projects annually, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure a reliable and strategic partnership.
• Proactively address issues, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions to ensure seamless collaboration with critical suppliers.
• Flexible for shift timings.

Who you are 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain or 8-10 years of work experience in planning, inventory, and/or purchasing with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read, follow, and understand standard operating procedures for P2P, with a willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new tasks
• Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment and effectively research problems using ERP systems
• Demonstrate customer focus and a commitment to quality by proactively addressing procurement issues, while exploring technology integration opportunities to enhance procurement processes
• Lead and complete at least two strategic procurement projects annually, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. 
• Technical proficiency with appropriate procurement systems and analytic tools.
• Knowledge of MS office package (outlook, word, power point, excel and access)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Should be able to handle critical suppliers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

• Knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
• Planning or purchasing experience in a similar regulated industry.
• Knowledge of SAP systems is preferred.
• Understanding of operations, including purchasing, materials, order processing, production processes & procedures.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain is added advantage.
