As an Associate Architect, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective maintenance of Veeva Vault PromoMats, directly contributing to the success of our team and organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system availability, security, and compliance while translating R&D and Commercial needs into effective technical solutions. You will optimize processes, facilitate informed decision-making, engage stakeholders, and mitigate risks.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Process Owner and actively participate in governance bodies, bridging IT and business functions.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap and leverage new functionalities from Veeva, conducting gap analysis to avoid technical obsolescence, reduce configuration complexity, and manage vendor relationships by prioritizing enhancement requests.
  • Oversee and drive validation and testing activities for all Vaults, ensuring compliant implementation of releases, user management, and projects.
  • Serve as a senior advisor and mentor within the team.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to become a trusted partner by thoroughly understanding their needs.
  • Prepare communications and deliver presentations regarding system enhancements.
  • Design, build, configure, and support Veeva Vault PromoMats to align with business processes and application requirements.
  • Ensure the application meets service performance expectations as outlined in the SLA.
  • Prioritize rapid resolution of issues, alerting vendors and relevant internal stakeholders as necessary.

 

Who You Are:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., computer science) or equivalent work experience in the Healthcare industry (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences).

  • Trained in business IT support and administration (e.g., ITIL).

  • Familiar with technology project management methods and standards.

  • Ideally, Whitebelt certified (Vault Platform Configuration Track).

 

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Healthcare company or service provider, with proximity to business functions.

  • Extensive experience in managing system administration support for Veeva Vaults, preferably PromoMats.

  • Comprehensive experience in system lifecycle management and related tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).

  • Strong experience in managing software vendors and R&D business and/or technology projects (including methods, standards, and documentation).

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (GxP, Validation, Data Privacy, Information Security).

  • Conceptual understanding of (Gen)AI.
