ServiceNow Demand Manager is responsible for managing the demand intake process, progressing the backlog, and ensuring effective communication and coordination across various stakeholders. This role involves prioritizing demands, conducting feasibility checks, estimating costs, and facilitating approval processes. The Demand Manager will work closely with the application development team and the release manager to ensure timely delivery of services and features.
Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the demand intake process to ensure all requests are captured accurately and efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for demand-related inquiries.
- Own the demand intake form in ServiceNow
- Continuously maintain and enhance the process documentation through regular reviews and timely updates to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Conduct feasibility checks to assess the viability of demands and align them with organizational goals.
- Ensure the demand is assessed with the potential business value in terms of efficiency, cost/FTE savings etc.,
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize demands based on business value and urgency.
- Work with development teams and BA’s to estimate costs associated with demands.
- Communicate approval statuses and required actions to stakeholders promptly.
- Lead the collaboration with the application development team and BA’s to ensure clarity on requirements and timelines.
- Monitor development progress and address any issues that arise during the process.
- Align with the release manager on release timelines and communicate these timelines to requesters.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of changes in release schedules or priorities.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive IT experience, including over 2 years of specialized expertise in ServiceNow
- Proven experience in demand management, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and its functionalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- ServiceNow CSA certification is a plus
