Your role:

The Sr. Expert ServiceNow at MBS will play a crucial role in driving digitalization at MBS through Low Code application development utilizing ServiceNow Platform capabilities. Your responsibilities will involve interacting with business to identify potential digitalization opportunities and provide solutions using ServiceNow Platforms. Job Description/ Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Delivery Management:
    • Interact with business stakeholder to understand pain points and provide solution utilizing ServiceNow capabilities.
    • Review existing service catalogues to identify end to end automation opportunities.
    • Contribute and drive ServiceNow strategies and roadmap for MBS (Share Service Center).
    • Prove viability of the proposed solution through POC or prototypes if required.
    • Collaborate with Service Now platform team to understand existing platform architecture, capabilities, platform usage guidelines and align on ways of working.
    • Perform hands on development for specific solutions as and when needed
    • Follow industry trend for digitalization of GBS processes utilizing ServiceNow.
    • Build scalable custom applications based on business requirements.
    • Implement technical governance on supplier deliverables to ensure best practices are followed.
    • Effectively co-ordinate with multiple teams for requirements, infrastructure needs
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Should have excellent stakeholder management skills to understand business expectation and deliver it through multiple teams.
    • Drive multiple initiatives with varied skilled stakeholders across different roles.
  3. Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
    • Keep abreast of advancements in ServiceNow capabilities.
    • Keep learning new technologies which can solve business problems.
  4. Prototyping and Rapid development:
    • Working alongside other MBS teams, develop quick prototypes, Proof-of-concepts and Minimum-viable-products for the Automation Solutions
    • Support teams that industrialize these solutions

 

 

 

Who you are:

Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science

Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written)

 

Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience

 

Primary Skills:

 

  1. Proven experience 10-12 years of experience in developing & designing solutions on ServiceNow platforms
  2. Expert knowhow of Service Now Platform Architecture, data model, different functional modules, Workflow, Integration and automation capabilities.
  3. Experienced on different ServiceNow modules like ITSM, EC, HRSD, Source to Pay, Legal service delivery.
  4. Expertise in designing & building complex custom apps utilizing App Engine & Automation hub capabilities.
  5. Experienced in developing business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, APIs, web services, Workflows, Business Rules, transform maps and scoped applications.
  6. Experienced in working with GBS function to digitalize business operations through automation & orchestrations.

 

Secondary Skills:

  1. Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through Automation solutions.
  2. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams within large and matrixed organisations
  3. Innovation: Stay curious and explore technologies trends
  4. Consulting & Customer centric mindset.
  5. Experience in developing solutions for GBS domains (Finance, Procurement, HR)
