Title: Specialist – Email Design

Location: Bangalore – Electronic City

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • The Email Design Specialist will support company projects by providing creative visual design work and final html that promotes consistent branding into digital channels, focusing on email marketing campaigns.
  • The Email Design Specialist position collaborates with the Marketing Automation Design Supervisor as well as other Digital Marketing partners to meet the needs of internal customers.

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Email Design Specialist will create visually engaging and functional graphics for email marketing channels and build email campaign files within our Marketing Automation platform (SFMC). This role will respond to requests from colleagues at all levels of the organization, clearly communicate the details of projects within their workflows to aid the Marketing Automation Supervisor, upload assets within Marketing Automation platforms according to specifications, and produce campaign assets that align with set brand strategies. Implement on project needs and translate the information into effective, on-brand designs to meet project goals.

Position will:

  • Focus on email marketing and marketing automation efforts of the business.
  • Support overall email marketing strategy and create email campaigns.
  • Acquire in-depth understanding of company brand to ensure new designs are visually aligned with brand and campaign strategies.
  • Prepare work by gathering information and materials, working independently as needed or in collaboration with other designers.
  • Translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, clear and engaging.
  • Support collections of design assets and follow team procedures for asset management.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Works daily in SFMC Content Builder and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Has a good understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Produces error-free work in a fast-paced environment, applying editing and proofreading skills to every project.
  • Adheres to company and department process standards, file management and review requirements.
  • Utilizes project management techniques to keep projects on track.
  • Evaluates and executes on designs intended for email marketing.
  • Creates email marketing assets, banners and other digital collateral.
  • Creates final optimized assets including images and HTML ensuring that all materials meet current corporate graphic standards.

 

Basic Qualification:

Who are you:

 

Education: Graduate with BCA, BSC, BE, or Web Designing

 

Experience: 3-5 years professional experience required in digital marketing and communications

[1-3 years professional experience working in SFMC (preferable) or similar Marketing Automation Platform (Oracle, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)

1-3 years professional experience working in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator]

Portfolio Mandatory

 

Technical Skills / Competencies:                                                           

  • Works proficiently in SFMC Content Builder
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in branding, illustration, iconography, infographics
  • Works proficiently in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience in Litmus (or similar tool) for inbox testing
  • Proficiency with MS Office365 and online collaborative software
  • Proficiency with Mac and PC platforms
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills
  • Resourcefulness coupled with great problem-solving skills, both on your own and as part of a team
