Your Role

• Manage credit and collection tasks for a portfolio valued at $15-$30 million, involving 300+ customers and making 25+ calls per day.
• Contact customers to request payment for overdue balances and identify reasons for payment delays.
• Review customer status in the accounting system and interact with various departments to resolve queries.
• Responsible for collecting receivables and resolving disputes and claims.
• Ensure delivery of service levels and meet SLA/KPI targets for the accounting function.
• Analyze customer payment trends to forecast collections for the fiscal month.
• Organize and participate in credit control, distribution center, sales, and customer meetings.
• Oversee cash application, manage overpayments, and deduction management (both allowable and preventable).

Who You are

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably accounting.
• 2 to 6+ years of credit and collection experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with SAP navigation in accounts receivable functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal skills coupled with basic problem-solving abilities and understanding of planning and execution processes.
• Demonstrates business acumen, willingness to lead change, and ability to foster high performance in self and team.
