Your role:
As a Senior Specialist in Data & Analytics Solutions, you will play a critical role in shaping the data ecosystems of teh organisations Business Services. Your focus will span the entire data spectrum, emphasizing finance, procurement, employee services, and service desks. You will work within a diverse range of enterprise system landscapes (SAP, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors etc) while leveraging cutting-edge data platform technologies such as Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, SAP BW/HANA, and AWS. Your expertise will bridge the gap between these advanced technologies and the data analytics and reporting needs of the organization.
Who you are:
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or a related field.
Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written)
Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Primary Skills:
- Proven experience 12-15 years of experience working across the data spectrum
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (from business and IT) to enhance the understanding and utilization of data across finance, procurement, employee services, and service desks. Also help identify data requirements for integration into analytics platforms supporting various projects.
- Provide subject matter expertise in data management, governance, and analytics. Specific expertise within the SAP ecosystem will be a bonus.
- Develop and execute plans for delivering data solutions that support business operations, advanced analytics, and reporting metrics.
- Contribute to data modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and integration of data platforms.
- Design and implement processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, focusing on data protection, retention, storage, usage, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with firmwide policies and standards related to data.
- Identify and document critical data elements, ensuring proper classification and metadata management to facilitate understanding and control.
- Document requirements for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and coordinate resources to meet these standards.
- Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data delivery partners in IT and data consumers across finance, procurement, employee services, and service-desk functions.
- Manage data project milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the data development lifecycle.
- Track and manage workstreams and associated KPIs to ensure successful delivery of data solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in executing specific data-related tasks.
Secondary Skills:
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through data solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Experience in working with GBS functions or similar shared services environments is a strong plus
- Ability to work on a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data technologies to drive innovation
