What You Do

 

Distributor Management:

  • Strategic Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing Life Science distributor partners in Thailand and Indochina.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance in-line with company strategic direction to distributor partners.
  • Sales Performance Optimization:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets through distributor channels.
    • Monitor distributor partners performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular performance reports and insights to management.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer needs, and regulatory changes, to identify growth opportunities.
    • Collect and provide valuable insights from/to dealer partners for sales, marketing and solution science teams.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure distributors partners adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

New Distributor Partner Development:

  • Market Analysis and Targeting:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential new distributor partners in target segments within the targeted market industry.
    • Develop a strategic plan for recruiting and onboarding high-potential partners.
  • Partner Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Proactively identify and recruit new distributor partners, negotiating favorable agreements and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program, providing training and support to new distributor partners.
  • Regional Expansion:
    • Drive market expansion into new territories within Thailand and Indochina by establishing strategic partnerships.
    • Understand the regulatory differences between the countries in the region.
  • Due Diligence:
    • Perform due diligence on potential partners to ensure they meet the company’s standards.

 

Who You Are

 

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in channel management or sales within the Life Science, Chemical or relevant technical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant market practice and behaviours in Thailand and Indochina.
  • Established network of contacts within the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical engineering distribution channel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and Thai (additional Indochinese languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
  • Knowledge of importation and exportation regulations within the region.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical engineering product lines.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and business tools
  • Experience working with government and academic institutions within the region.
  • Master’s degree in relevant science and engineering filed or Business Administration.
