What You Do

 

  • Supervise operations within a warehouse to effectively manage receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and shipping of products to customers. Has experience beyond warehouse/operations (e.g. transport, supply chain, import/export)
  • Acts as second-in-charge for Warehouse Supervisor (line manager)
  • Directs functional tasks on a day-to-day basis (e.g. allocates pick lists) with being responsible for people management
  • Trains team members on safety, SOP, WI, 6S, Lean and processes (e.g. system

and process changes)

  • Is a role model for warehouse operators.
  • Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.
  • Deliver and supervise the delivery of a range of warehouse and store tasks to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures.
  • Complete outgoing goods tasks, cultivate an understanding of outgoing goods needs, and develop ideas for improvements.
  • Supervise a team performing routine work.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.
  • Carry out a range of inventory-control management activities using existing procedures.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

 

Who You Are

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or other related fields
  • 5 years of using Warehouse management system
  • People management, how to manage broad range of ages people.
  • Knowledge about ISO9001
  • Lean 6 Sigma concept.
  • Dangerous goods storage and transportation management.
  • Able to communicate in English.
