Your Role:

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide full-cycle Human Resources support to the various groups and businesses in the Company’s Australia legal entities. This role will be a part of a passionate country HR team. You will report to the Head of HR ANZ & SEA Countries.

 

You will:

  • Engage with Leadership Teams while ensuring alignment of People topics across sectors and legal entities in the country.
  • Partner with Managing Directors to highlight people implications aligned with the business direction, and deliver value added business solutions grounded in a deep understanding of the business context and needs.
  • Enable employees, people managers and business leaders to address the employee relations dimension, among others, in line with HR strategy.
  • Lead key HR projects to drive the plans for the respective businesses.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and provide strategic HR advice and solutions.
  • Handle end-to-end HR value proposition, working across the full employee life cycle from strategy to execution.
  • Provide core HR advice, solutions and services to partners and employees, including recruitment; orientation; capacity management, workforce planning; employee movements (e.g. transfers, secondments, flexible working, leave); employee relations and engagement; career development; performance management; remuneration; workplace health and safety.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and promote a positive employee experience.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity and professional growth.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage and resolve complex HR issues and conflicts effectively.
  • Provide first line support to leaders to resolve performance, disciplinary and grievance issues as required.
  • Partner with relevant Regional or Global Centers of Expertise to design, implement programs that help attract, retain and develop talents.
  • Implement and embed change management initiatives across the company.

 

Who You Are:

  • An experienced HR Business Partner who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across organizations.
  • You have a strong expertise in ANZ labor law and have coordinated critical HR dimensions such as Performance Management, terminations process and other country specific processes (eg: Worker Compensations claim, Fair work commissions).
  • You have a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment, with strong internal and external customer service focus.
  • You have passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement and possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • You should have:
    • Proven experience (at least 7 years) as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferred in Business shared service industry and commercial.
    • In-depth understanding of HR best practices, ANZ employment laws, and industry trends.
    • Proven ability to work successfully in a matrix organization including a large variety of key stakeholders and their expectations.
    • Proven track record of working collaboratively and communicating successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
    • Project management experience
    • Fluent in Business English
