Your Role:

At the intersection of science, technology, and policy, this role holds strategic significance for one of the world's leading science and technology companies. As Senior Director, Government Affairs Germany, you will serve as the senior advocate and primary interface between the company and the German political landscape, shaping and executing a cross-sector advocacy strategy that spans Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics.

Based in Berlin, you will lead high-level engagement with federal Ministries, state governments, and key political decision-makers, securing and orchestrating access for the global C-suite leadership. You will define and articulate clear policy positions in close collaboration with the three German business sector leaders, ensuring that the company's operational and investment interests are represented with precision and impact. Working in close alignment with the Head of the EU Hub, you will translate EU-level policy priorities into effective member state engagement and ensure a seamless, consistent approach across government interactions. You will also harness bilateral relationships to support the company's business in international markets — through commercial advocacy, government-to-government dialogue, and partnerships aligned with German initiatives in science, technology, and development.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in government affairs or related roles; with at least 5 years in a senior position.
  • Master’s or higher diploma in public policy, public administration, international relations or related fields.
  • Healthcare or technology industry experience preferred.
