Your Role: 

• As Business Process Expert ERP Deployment within the area of Indirect Taxes, you perform all indirect tax-related operative activities for A2R processes in ERP deployment projects as required.
• You will support cross-functional project members with A2R expertise and create documentation and instructions as well as support fixing identified issues.
• In addition, and in close alignment with the respective ERP deployment project manager, you coordinate and plan all day-to-day project activities like in SAP-template set-up and subsequent rollouts.
• The position is part of the Finance organization; however, you will closely collaborate with other teams (like IT, O2C, I2P, etc.).
• Associated with your role, you leverage your expertise to continuously improve processes towards standardization and harmonization to further increase efficiency.

Who You Are:

• University degree in accounting; preferably in combination with tax
• 4+ years of meaningful work experience in finance/accounting/controlling processes; preferably related to indirect taxes (e.g. VAT, GST, Sales tax); operative knowledge in SAP - module FI accounts receivable & payable and in tax engines like standard SAP conditioning, ONESOURCE or VERTEX is a plus
• Proven track of record in supporting projects (implementation, process & data migration testing) ideally in full life cycle of SAP module FI and of a tax engine
• Deep understanding of operational indirect tax-, VAT-aspects and their legal requirements given by country tax authorities is a plus
• Expertise in SAP-module FI is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to review and interpret data, detect problems and determine best solution and preventative measures to mitigate future risks
• Strong team-player and goal oriented with experiences in international work environment supplemented by intercultural competencies
• Excellent English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills; other languages (like German, French, etc.) would be an asset
• Flexibility & willingness for regular business trips – around 15% per year
